Allgeric to something else.....

Before we left for the doctor
When we got home from the doctor
It just got worse
And early this morning in his baking soda bath.
We had a good morning yesterday till I decided to go out of the ordinary and fix some EGGS. So I fixed us all eggs and Cooper was fine with them. About 20 minutes later he had broken out in a rash and his eye was red. So I gave him some Benadryl thinking the rash would calm down but nope it just got worse. So later that afternoon after I had talked to some nurses and my mom I decided to take him in. So back into the doctors we go. The top picture was right before we left. The doctor prescribed Cooper with a steroid and just told me to keep him on Benadryl. His lip swelling went down last night but the rash didn't. So I put him in a baking soda bath this morning. The bath calmed him down and he went to sleep and it seems that the rash has gone down. Thank goodness! Well a couple weeks after his first allergic reaction I took him to be tested. He was tested that he was DEFINITELY allergic to PEANUTS. Well the test also showed he was allergic to Milk and EGGS. I told the doctor that I have given him both before and nothing has happened. So he said well maybe its not that bad and that I could give him eggs and milk still if I wanted to. Well he has been drinking milk for a while. I just thought I would make eggs yesterday for a change and since he didn't react from it last time I thought he would be OK. GUESS I WAS WRONG. Maybe I will just stick him back on baby food where none of these things happen. My poor little boy. I will be postings so non allergric reaction pictures soon.

Bowling on our day off

Dillon's FIRST bowling experience.
I loved every time he dropped the ball. It was so funny how he tried to throw it and it would just fall out of his arms.
My pro bowler.
High Fives all around. Dillon kept saying after we bowled "Give Me Five".
We were a little rusty.
But who won? ME! I must say I had a little help from the bumper lanes but who cares a win is a win.Right?

Well on Tuesday we decided to go bowling. They just opened up a bowling alley here and we were so excited to take Dillon and check it out. Everything in there was so nice. My bowling shoes had probably been put on someone else's feet once. The screens were new and the sitting was new. After bowling we went to play in the arcade area and used our tickets to get some candy. It was a fun day and we will definitely be doing it again.

Thank you Susan Veater for my totally cute bag. Susan sent me this cute bag in the mail the other day. I was really shocked seeing as I was just kidding about me getting one of these bags. I sure wish you lived next door to my parents still. I miss you guys.

Saying Good-Bye to Devin

Cute family picture
Don't you just love the cooperation from my kids?
Here are a couple candid shots I got....
Devin playing with Paige. She was just laughing so hard.
And his finally good-bye to Logan before he left. It was a precious moment.
I went to Devin and Sarah's house on Wednesday night before Devin left that next morning. Like I have said before he is going to Iraq for 18 months. I am so grateful for all those men and women that go and serve our country. Every time they leave they have to say good-bye to their families for long periods of time. So Thank You everyone that serves our country. We will see you soon Devin.
Also Devin and Sarah were put on the front page of the Daily Press. Here is the link:

Family Reunion on my side of the family

We went to the beach on Saturday. It was so nice. We had a family reunion down in Laguna Niguel at Salt Lake Creek Beach. That is probably one of the nicest beaches I've been to in California. The grass at the top where you can sit and have lunch and not get sand in all your bags was GREAT. Then we walked onto the sand and played out in the water for the rest of the day. Sorry for the lack of pictures I left my camera up in the grass area and now I am regretting my decision. DARN IT! This is the only picture I have. I told Brach we have to go back there. It was nice to get together with almost all of my family.
So as you can see I have barely had any time to blog but I am all caught up now. So I hope everyone has been doing good.

Girls Day Out

We had a girl's day out. I planned for all my sisters and mom to go out to lunch at Market Broiler. We missed Suzanne, Shelly and Alysha. I will definitely be planning one of these getaways again soon. After we went out to eat some of the girls went and got a manicure and pedicure and then went shopping. Thanks to Brach for watching the boys. It really was nice and it made me realize I need to do it more often.

We had another Party

Devin, Sarah, Logan, Arial and baby Paige

Brandon and Chris coming down the slide.

Brach coming down to make a splash.
We had a party for Devin. He is going to be serving in Iraq for 18 months. We hope for a safe return and he will definitely be in our prayers. We all had a good day and that slide was so awesome. I wish I had a picture of me going down the slide. It made for a awesome party.
