My eventfully weekend

Saturday we put our new door in. If you didn't know already we have totally remodeled our house and our new front door is just going in. So here it is torn out. That day as Brach was finishing up that last trim around the door he cuts his pinky finger on the saw and has to go and get 6 stiches. It was nasty!
Sunday we went to Brach's sister's house and had a party for all the December birthday's. It was so much fun.
Dillon got a pirate's ship from Grandma. (He's in love with it.)
So that night I get home and Brach was already gone for work. I unlock the door fine but I couldn't lock it back up. I don't know why. Something with how it was screwed in. Heck if I know it just wouldn't lock back up. Ohhh great I'm all by myself and I can't lock my door for the night. I got paranoid as you can see so I locked myself in. I took two 5 gallon paint cans stuck them up against the door and then the love seat. Hey Brach couldn't get in the door this morning. haha:)

Birthday Boy!

 

Happy Birthday to my big boy. He is 3 years old today. I can't believe I have a 3 year old. He is the BEST thing ever and is so sweet. I love him. Happy Birthday Dillon.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

 

 

 

 

We had a GREAT Christmas. It is nice to have a kid that loves Christmas and knows what is going on. Dillon was excited to open up his gifts and was excited to go and see the Price cousins. We all had a good Christmas and now it is on to Dillon's birthday. He is going to be 3 (AHHHH) on the 29th. What happened to my little baby? Anyways, I love Christmas but I'm glad it is over. It is a stressful time of year and it is hard to find a moment to relax. Maybe next year I will get everything done early and be able to really enjoy Christmas. (Crossing my fingers). Anyways, I hope everyone's Christmas was safe and happy.

We made Mini Meatball Soup.....Yummy!

Dillon loves to cook and bake with me and he was making the mini meatballs. He did such a good job mixing it with his hands.
Then we went onto tearing the spinach up. Maybe someday he will go to school to be a chef or maybe he will learn how to cook and all the girls will love him for it.
This was a really good soup. I got the recipe off of my RECIPE BLOG. It was fun to make with Dillon too. He actually stuck around to do everything.

I thought these picture's were so funny. I can remember going some where and being so excited and by the time we were done we were so dead tired. They were all out like a light. We had a blast at Knott's.

Dillon and I made Caramel Popcorn. Actually we started making it together and it ended up me making it. He was the popcorn kernel taker outer. I guess he didn't think it was that fun. I just made it and I tasted it and it is SOOOOOOOOOO YUMMY. I hope I can give some of this stuff away before I eat it all. I LOVE CARAMEL POPCORN! Snow Day!

So today Dillon thought he would go and get Cooper up from his nap or I guess he thought he would keep him company. I was in the kitchen doing dishes and Dillon thought he would be helpful and go and turn the light on for Cooper since he was crying in his bed and up from his nap. So here is Dillon taking care of Cooper in his bed.
When I walked in he was turned facing Cooper and talking to him. It was so cute. I wish I had secret camera's in the house sometimes. Sometimes Dillon does the cutest things for Cooper.
Well about a hour ago it poured down snow. Brach told me that he was just going to take our little Mazda Protege down the mountian. I kept telling him I would feel better if he took the Expedition. He said no I'm fine in the little car. Whatever I said and he picked up the keys to his car. He opened the door and the snow was just falling so fast and he looked back at me and said give me the keys to the Expedition. See he should have just listened to me the first time. :)
Dillon wanted to see the snow and heck if I was going to let him stand out there in that cold and see the snow. So here he is at the window watching the snow fall. He kept making me take pictures so he could come and see the pictures on the back of the camera. So he is cheesing in this picture so he could see himself on the camera. So silly!

Fun Times!

Dillon and I made a cake. Actually I made the cake and Dillon decorated it. I made a cream cheese frosting and decided Dillon could pick what color we would make the frosting and then I took out the decoration and he did the decorations as you can tell ALL on his own. He decroated a little and also ate some of the decorations. I thought it was so cute and he was so happy that he did it. He wouldn't let me help him. If you notice the M&M's all to one side I tried to spread them around and he just moved them back. He kept telling me " No mom, I do it." I love to cook and bake and I think it is nice that Dillon loves to do it too.
