Dillon was asked last Sunday to read the scripture of the month in Primary. I was so excited for him seeing as this was the first thing he has done in church. I couldn't believe how excited I was. It was this proud moment for me. He went right on up and stood and read "And verily I say unto you, let this house be built unto my name, that I may reveal mine ordinances therein unto my people" D&C 124:40. I wanted to take a picture of this moment. He said everything very clearly and was happy at the end of it because after he reads it he says now repeat after me and everyone followed him. He thought that was so cool. He is warming up to Primary more and more now that they have put him in with the CTR5 class. Dillon was the only Sunbeam and I didn't like him being by himself so FINALLY after a couple months of telling them I wanted him in with the other class they did it and I'm so happy they did.Sunday, June 8, 2008

I am so glad they put him in that class finally!!! Now maybe he will really enjoy primary.
Dillon, I'm so happy you gave your scripture and everyone could hear you. I'm really glad you are in a Primary class and can learn so many new things.
Love Grandma
That's way cute. I love it when kids give talks in primary. So fun.
I can't believe that our 3 year olds are getting so big. Where does the time go? I bet him being up there giving the scripture made you feel so proud to be his mom.
I know exactly how you felt during that moment! Topher can be a little resistant (putting it mildly) when asked to do things, but when he had to give scripture and prayer a few weeks ago and went up and actually did it, I had to really fight bursting into happy tears. It really puts things into perspective to watch your kids actually participating in church! Thanks for sharing!
My oldest is going to give his first talk tomorrow and I am really nervous. Glad to hear that things went well with Dillon and that he is enjoying Primary now.
