We took a trip up to Big Bear since we aren't far from it.
The lake was so beautiful.

rode the race cars as Dillon calls them.Thanks to Kelly for posting that they went to the Alpine slides. I decided the next day that we were going to go. I have been on Alpine slides in Park City,UT but I was like 10 when I had done it last. We had so much fun. I don't know who had more fun Dillon or Brach. Dillon couldn't get enough of the alpine slide. He rode up the ski lift all the way to the top and wasn't scared at all. Every time they would come down he would say "Let's go again." We bought a 5 time ride so that was good for us. We will definitely be back again. We will plan on doing the water slides too though next time. We aren't far from Big Bear so we will have to plan for a all day thing. They have so many things to do in Big Bear. I never knew. They have kayaking, charter a fishing boat, parasailing, a zoo, a bowling alley, movie theater and in the winter there is skiing, sledding and whatever else. If any of you are close to the mountains check it out.

Looks like you had a fun day. I didn't know Big Bear had all of that stuff either.
It looks like you guys had alot of fun. I love the look that Dillon has on his face in all of the pictures. He just looks like he is enjoying himself hanging out with you guys.

We are in the suburbs of Chicago. Rye is in pharmacy school out here. He still has three years left. Then we will head west!!
